Kathleen Medina
aka Kat, is a Dominican American photographer from Houston. Her photography is inspired by her travels, color, and capturing images that evoke strong emotions of joy and happy memories for her. With a background in culinary arts from The Art Institute of Houston, Kat’s artistic approach is infused with a rich sense of storytelling and cultural exploration. She currently works as a Social Media Manager creating content for local restaurants. Kat's food photography has been featured in Local and National media outlets. Outside of photography, she is deeply committed to animal welfare, working with local cat rescues and supporting Houston’s stray cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts. Kat’s work not only reflects her artistic vision but also her dedication to community and social responsibility.
